(ROCKWALL, TX – July 31, 2019) Wreck’m Tech! The Rockwall Area Red Raiders invites all to its 15th Annual Tommy Hooper Texas Tech Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club. Golfers can get in some practice swings on the range and also enjoy lunch beginning at 12 p.m. Shotgun start for the Florida Scramble-style tournament begins at 1 p.m.
All proceeds of the event will benefit scholarships for selected RISD Seniors attending Texas Tech University. This tournament has raised over $250,000 which has all been awarded to Rockwall and Rockwall Heath High Schools graduating seniors attending Texas Tech! We have assisted 46 students and currently have 13 actively enrolled! These are all outstanding students and their cumulative grade point average through this spring ranged from 3.20 to several 4.00’s!
