(ROCKWALL, TX — July 25, 2019) On July 11, families across the community and beyond participated in a monster game of tag in support of Special Olympics athletes.
For the past three years, the Giadolor family of Rockwall has organized a game of tag called Humans vs. Zombies at Harry Myers Park on July 11. For this year’s Humans vs. Zombies event, the Giadolors partnered with Special Olympics Texas to raise money for their athletes. The third annual Humans vs. Zombies game had about 100 participants – with some driving from two hours away to play.
Thanks to the support of the community, including the Rockwall-Heath Cross Country Program, Kristie Crone with Special Olympics Texas and those who donated, the Giadolor family raised nearly $1,000 for Special Olympics Texas.
