ROCKWALL, TX – April 2, 2021 – More than $1500 in scholarships will be awarded to local students this year in the Annual Memorial Day Essay Contest, sponsored by Dewayne and Ann Cain and Rest Haven Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
The topic is: “What does Memorial Day mean to you?” All graduating seniors from the Class of 2021 are eligible to participate. Entries must include an essay of 500 words or less, name, grade, school, school district, phone number and email address. The deadline to submit is 5 p.m. Friday, May 10.
