(ROCKWALL, TX – Nov. 7, 2019) Rockwall High School counseling staff was recently selected as a Lone Star State School Counselor Association (LSSSCA) GOLD Winner for the 2019 school year. Rockwall High School is one of three high schools in the state of Texas to receive this honor.
Winning this Gold award qualifies them for the national Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP), which is an award given to exemplary counseling departments across our nation.
The LSSSCA developed a progressive awards system that includes three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Each level is met with increased levels of rigor designed to elevate school counselor programs to national recognition through The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) RAMP awards.
