Press Release from the City of Rockwall:
As indicated in a message from the Rockwall Independent School District (RISD), several schools received calls today (Thursday) which “included profanity and recommended acts of protest” against law enforcement. While the Rockwall Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety have indicated to RISD that this is not viewed as an immediate credible threat, all such matters are taken seriously by law enforcement. Accordingly, there will be increased patrol and law enforcement presence at schools tomorrow, which will include officers from both the Rockwall Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
