(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX) Mark your calendars for Sunday, Sept. 20 for the 5th Annual Bikes for Tykes Teddy Bear Ride benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County, hosted by CAC and America’s Guardians Motorcycle Club.
Last year, America’s Guardians presented a $31,122 check to the CAC from the 2019 event that drew 225 motorcycles. “Part of our oath is helping those that can’t help themselves, so what better way to help than abused kids,” Mike Meek of America’s Guardians said during the presentation.
As in year’s past, this year’s event will feature food, music, silent auction, and vendor booths. Registration is $20 per bike with a new, unwrapped soft toy. Stay tuned to Blue Ribbon News as more details are announced.
The Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County provides a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, medical and mental health professionals can collaborate within our own community to develop coordinated strategies to more effectively seek justice and promote healing for victims of child abuse.
