Royse City Chamber’s March 17 luncheon with RCISD Superintendent Worthy still on

(ROYSE CITY, TX – March 12, 2019) Royse City Chamber of Commerce is closely monitoring the reports of COVID-19 in the area and taking appropriate precautions for all social and networking gatherings scheduled.

The risk to the general public in Royse City remains very low. With practical steps of eliminating handshakes as well as regular handwashing, we believe it is safe to continue with our Luncheon and other scheduled Networking events.

If you are experiencing symptoms identified by the CDC regarding the virus, please refrain from attending this or any public gathering, and take necessary steps to get tested as needed.

The Chamber also wants to underscore the impact that widespread panic has on local business. We will make every effort to continue with our regularly scheduled programs to support our business leaders through this economic slowdown.

As always, our events are elective, and we want to make them available to those who are not at risk and not affected at this time.

Please stay tuned to our communications, should the plans necessarily change with short notice.

Sincerely,

Ashlee Burke and Vanessa Stahl

Royse City Chamber Executive Directors
