Senior Spotlight: Lauren Jo Groves, Rockwall High School

(ROCKWALL, TX – March 26, 2020)  This is Rockwall High School senior Lauren Jo Groves.  She is a member of Rockwall High School Varsity Chorus where she currently serves at the Spirit Officer.

Lauren  is involved in several clubs and organizations including  Model United Nations, Mu Alpha Theta and Movie Club. She is a member of First United Methodist Church of Rockwall where she serves in many ways including Youth Leadership Team.

Lauren has been accepted to the 2020 Freshman class of  Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she has been offered a Dean’s Scholarship.  She will study Marine Biology and hopes to complete her Master’s Degree through NSU’s Dual Admission Program.

Lauren is a 6th Year English equestrian rider for Silver Lining Training Center in Terrell, TX.   She also is scheduled to go to state competition with UIL Solo and Ensemble for Voice.

Lauren is very passionate about her goals and helping the community.  It is her desire to combine her love of environment, connecting with people, global leadership and marine science to make a great impact on this world!
