Senior Spotlight: Lydia Harper, Rockwall High School

(ROCKWALL, TX – March 24, 2020) Lydia Harper is a hardworking and loyal student at Rockwall High School and is proud to be the fourth generation Yellowjacket in her family.  She takes pride in her extracurriculars as she dedicates much of her time to practicing the piano and also refining her speech skills as president of the debate team.

Outside of school, Lydia volunteers as a teacher for her church’s 3rd grade bible study and developing her creative side.  Writing poetry and drawing has always been an escape she always knows she can turn to.  In a similar way, she enjoys being the escape for others and hopes to strengthen this trait by becoming a counselor at the University of North Texas in Denton.

Lydia is a bright young girl with an amazing future ahead, and she can’t wait to see what it has in store.  Jacket Fight Never Dies!
