Stingerette Senior Showcase: Julie Blevins

Our final Stingerette Showcase is Miss Julia Blevins. Julia is the daughter of Curtis and Dinora Blevins. She is a 3 year member of the Stingerettes and is the Captain for the 2019-20 year. Julia was also a lieutenant her Junior year.

For the last three years, Julia has been an ADTS National Solo Finalist and was the National Solo Champion her freshman year and won many solo champion titles with Showtime, MA Dance, and Crowd Pleasers Dance. For her senior year, Julia has been the solo champion at Showtime, Crowd Pleasers and ADTS where she also won the Champion Circle award for having one of the top solo scores.

Julia is a three year member of the elite dance team, Showstoppers, was named Stingerette of the Week and Spirit Girl. She was voted Most Entertaining to Watch and Best Turns by her fellow drill team members. With the Stingerettes, Julia traveled to Orlando to perform at Disney World and to New York City to dance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Julia is also a three year member of Dance FX Studio.

Julia serves the Rockwall community by volunteering with the ESY Summer Mentor program. She also volunteers through Outlook 2020. She hopes to attend Texas Tech University with hopes of making the Texas Tech Pom Squad. She plans to pursue a degree in Finance.
