Update from Rowlett police on today’s low speed pursuit, welfare check

(ROWLETT, TX) The Rowlett Police Department posted the following press release today following today’s events involving a slow-speed chase through Rowlett into Rockwall. On Facebook they posted, “The investigation is ongoing at this time. A huge shout out to Garland PD and Rockwall PD for the ground support and DPS 101 for their expertise in the air. We have come to expect and appreciate the professionalism y’all bring on a daily basis and look forward to future collaborations with our surrounding agencies having equally positive results where no one was hurt.”
