Blue Ribbon News Senior Spotlight: Amelia Bird, Rockwall-Heath High School

(ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – April 23, 2020) Amelia Bird is a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School. She is a member of National Charity League contributing 238 hours of community service.

Amelia is one of the original swimmers that started with RACE when the Rockwall Natatorium opened in 2009. She was blessed to swim Varsity all four years, making it to State each year and served as Captain her junior and senior year.

Amelia will be attending Liberty University in Virginia where she will be competing in Division I swimming on Liberty’s swim team and pursuing her education studying mechanical engineering.

(And HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY to Amelia, whose birthday is Sunday, April 26!)
