Blue Ribbon News Senior Spotlight: Kaitlyn Florence, Heritage Christian Academy

(ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – April 22, 2020) Kaitlyn Florence is a senior at Heritage Christian Academy. Kaitlyn is the current Student Council President, a member of the National Honor Society, tennis team, and was the sole member of the Varsity cross country team this past fall.

While at HCA she has also been a member of the dance team (2 years), cheer (3 years), basketball (1 year), track (2 years), and yearbook staff (1 year). This past summer she was chosen as a delegate for Girls State where she learned the inner workings of our government.

Kaitlyn attends Cornerstone Church where she serves middle school aged students. She has also served the last two summers volunteering as a medical assistant at Hidden Acres, a local camp for refugees and underprivileged children.

She has a heart for serving moms and will attend training to become a certified doula in the fall.
