(ROCKWALL, TX – April 14, 2020) Rockwall County Judge David Sweet has amended the current Stay at Home Order to reflect Governor Abbott’s current order until April 30th.
Some key changes include:
– updates to the definitions of essential businesses and essential services to be in line with federal guidelines. Here is a link to the guidelines.

– Religious services are “essential services”. Although they should be conducted remotely whenever possible.
– Makes price gouging an offense under the order.
– Extends the original order to April 30th.
