(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – April 2, 2020) In an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 outbreaks, the following municipalities have postponed their May 2, 2020 elections:
Rockwall ISD
Royse City ISD
City of McLendon-Chisholm
City of Rowlett, Texas
City of Fate
(The cities of Heath & Rockwall did not have an election scheduled.)
In adherence to Texas Election Laws, these postponed elections will take place on Nov. 3, 2020 with the General Election.
Our print edition is delivered free to ~15,500 homes in Rockwall and Heath, TX.
