Rockwall sixth grader makes face masks with 3D printer

(ROCKWALL, TX – April 15, 2020) Hays Elementary sixth grader Luke LaGrange has been making face masks for first responders using 3D printing technology.

After first discovering 3D printing in his fourth grade class, Luke became fascinated by the technology. He received his very own 3D printer for Christmas, and has been using it to make the masks. So far he’s made 21 face masks through three weeks of using the printer.
