Official COVID-19 Update from Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management (5/30/2020)

From the Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management 

(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – May 30, 2020) We have received eight additional confirmed COVID-19 cases from DSHS. Seven cases are in Rockwall. One case is in Royse City. One person is less than 20. One person is in their 20’s. Two people are in their 30’s. One person is in their 40’s. Two people are in their 60’s. One person is in their 70’s.

We have received reports from Highland Meadows Health and Rehab, Royse City Medical Lodge, Rockwall Nursing Care Center, Rowlett Health and Rehabilitation Center. and Brookdale Summer Ridge that all staff and residents have been tested and all results are negative. Other facilities are working with state, county, and city organizations to test staff and residents.

There are 186 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 12 confirmed deaths, 154 reported recoveries, and 2336 conducted tests reported. Ten person reported to Rockwall County hospitals suspected of having COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
