Official COVID-19 Update from Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management (6/19/2020)

From the Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management

We have received six additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Texas DSHS. Five cases are in Rockwall and one is in Fate. Four people are in their 20’s. One person is in their 60’s. One person is in their 70’s.

There are 264 confirmed cases, 16 deaths, 188 reported recoveries, 4532 conducted tests reported. Thirty nine persons reported to Rockwall County hospitals suspected of having COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Primrose Update

Primrose Daycare has self-reported 7 positive COVID-19 cases (4 staff and 3 students). Primrose is working with the State and decided to close for two weeks to mitigate the spread. This was a Primrose decision, not a State mandate.
