Official COVID-19 Update from Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management (6/11/2020)

9ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – June 11, 2020) Rockwall County has received six additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Texas DSHS. All six cases are in the City of Rockwall. One person is less than 20. Two people are in their 30’s. One person is in their 40’s. One person is in their 50’s. One person is in their 70’s.

We have not received reported recoveries this week from DSHS due to a transition in reporting.

Forty two persons reported to Rockwall County hospitals suspected of having COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

There is a free testing site at Lakepointe Church today. Anyone can be tested, but you do need to make an appointment. See our graphic for information on how to make an appointment.

State Update:

The Governor has ordered that tomorrow, June 12, restaurants may open up dining to 75% capacity. You can see the governor’s guidance at the link below.
