dried Italian herbs
pepperoni (or whatever protein you like, but cooked)
Mozzarella cheese (grated)
Cool Ranch Hummus with Crudites:
2 cans unsalted chickpeas
Apple Cider Vinegar
Olive Oil
Garlic Powder
Salt
(baby carrots, small cucumber (my favorite is English Cucumber), celery stalks, or any other veggie of your preference)
We will also demonstrate some piping techniques for cupcakes.
Young Chef’s Academy, Zanata, and Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County team up to help keep kids safe
ROCKWALL, TX – July 23, 2020 – Families are encouraged to join a Virtual Cooking Show set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 31, hosted by Young Chef’s Academy of Rockwall and featuring Patricia Mejia, President and CEO of the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.
Families will enjoy cooking up great meal (we heard a rumor it may be French bread pizza and cupcake decorating!) while learning more about ways kids can keep safe in this social distancing environment of COVID-19.
Stay tuned to Young Chef’s Academy’s facebook event page for a list of ingredients to be posted soon, for those wishing to stock up and join in the cooking fun.
There will be random giveaways throughout the free, hour-and-a-half event, culminating with the grand prize giveaway of a four course dinner for four and box of Sangria, courtesy of Zanata.
