Official COVID-19 Update from Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management (8/11/2020)

ROCKWALL, TX (August 11, 2020) The Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management released the following official COVID-19 update today. They also shared that Duke University recently released a study that showed thin spandex neck gaiters increase aerosolization of droplets when people speak while wearing them. This could increase transmission of COVID-19. The most effective mask was the fitted N95, three-layer surgical masks and cotton masks, which many people have been making at home, also performed well.
