Rowlett High School cancels varsity football games through Oct. 9

ROWLETT, TX (Sept. 29, 2020) Garland ISD is fortunate to partner with the Garland Health Department to ensure the health and safety of our students, staff and community. A Rowlett High School football player has tested positive for COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution, other team members will quarantine for 14 days.

Rowlett High School’s varsity football games have been canceled through Oct. 9. The Oct. 9 game against Sachse High School will be rescheduled.

Families of quarantined players have been notified and given resources to monitor for symptoms. All Garland ISD students, staff and families can also receive free COVID-19 testing at Ayman Care. The health and safety of GISD students and staff remains our top priority.
