ROCKWALL, TX (September 22, 2020) Sue Reeves of Rockwall has the distinguished honor of being featured among a select few on the George H.W. Bush Points of Light Inspiration Honor Roll.
Sue is a volunteer at the Children’s Advocacy Center, nominated by Farrah Brabson who wrote:
“She volunteers her time weekly for our organization. She has volunteered over 600 official hours and unofficially volunteered prior to our organization opening its doors. She helps keep volunteer records updated and helps organize volunteer programs. She was pivotal in the development of the program and has been working tirelessly to learn new programs, technology, and to pivot with necessary changes we implemented due to COVID-19. She has continued to serve throughout the pandemic, including ensuring the facility is thoroughly sanitized and clean for the child victims of abuse we serve. The center is grateful for her contributions.”
The Inspiration Honor Roll celebrates both acts of kindness and service that demonstrate the light that individuals bring to their communities around the world.
Tune in on Sept. 26 for a night of hope and inspiration, as we celebrate people doing good and honor those who are changing the world with The George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award.
