Clarisa’s Compassion Challenge: Coat Drive to honor memory of local child

ROCKWALL, TX (Oct. 5, 2020) During the month of October, new children’s coats are being accepted for children in foster care, as part of Clarisa’s Compassion Challenge Coat Drive.

Donations are being accepted at Northplace Church, 2800 Pleasant Valley Road in Sachse, or directly by Crystal Liechty or Amy Mueller.

Clarisa’s Story

Clarisa came into foster care at the age of 2 1/2. She was medically fragile and required constant care. The Mueller family of Rockwall adopted her two years later. She lost her battle with a lung disease on Oct. 20, 2019.

Clarisa had an infectious smile and loved life and her family. She blessed everyone she met.

The goal of C3 (Clarisa’s Compassion Challenge, a local nonprofit) is to bless others throughout the year in honor of Clarisa Grace “Risa” Mueller. Learn more about Clarisa’s story on her facebook page.
