Free virtual class on back injuries, prevention & care hosted by Texas Health Hospital Rockwall
ROCKWALL, TX (Oct. 21, 2020) Suffering from back pain? As part of its ongoing commitment to provide community education classes, Texas Health Hospital Rockwall will host a VIRTUAL Health Chat on Back Injuries, Prevention & Care from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, presented by Howard Barrett, PT, DPT- Manager of Therapy Services.

Most back injuries are the result of poor posture, lack of flexibility and bad habits. In addition to injury, these actions lead to pain and difficulty enjoying everyday life. With proper instruction and practice, you can learn techniques to help reduce the risk of back injuries.

Topics include:

    • Safe lifting
    • Office/computer posture
    • Maintaining a healthy back
    • Strength and flexibility
