Rockwall-Heath Hawks Cheerleader Spotlight: Sydney Hail

HEATH, TX – October 28, 2020 — Level 6 Flyer Sydney Lauren Hail has been letting her teammates toss her in the air since she was in 1st grade.

Sydney is an energetic, fun-loving senior at Rockwall-Heath High School who proudly marches to the beat of her own drum. She has been cheering since the first grade and has been a flyer for national winning competitive teams. She has been a squad member of RISD cheer since 7th grade. Sydney is a three-time NCA All-American and a four-time NCA Champion. She has been a nationally ranked individual competitive cheerleader and has received other cheer awards including WOW Performer, Best Flyer, Most Community Service Hours, and Most Spirited.

Sydney loves being a part of the Gene Burton Culinary program where her skills team won Regional Champions and advanced to the State competition. Sydney also serves as the Historian for Business Professionals of America. She is a founder and member of the Rockwall County Helping Hands Teen Board where she is a four-time Presidential Service Award recipient for her service. Sydney is a member of National Charity League Pearl where she serves as Parliamentarian and was awarded Most Service Hours.

Sydney is the daughter of Chris and Melody Hail and the sister of Parker and Garrett. She attends Lakepointe Church and hopes to someday serve as a camp counselor at Pine Cove Camp where she has attended multiple years.

After graduation, Sydney hopes to continue cheering at the collegiate level before attending Johnson and Wales culinary school in Colorado.
