Rowlett Chamber seeks awards nominees, Masquerade Ball set for Jan 30

ROWLETT, TX – Nov. 3, 2020 – Each year the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce recognizes several categories of outstanding businesses; it is now time for the 2020 annual awards cycle to begin. Winners will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet on January 30, 2021. The event will have a Masquerade Ball theme.

Every business owner has a story to tell about their business success, and the Rowlett Chamber wants to hear it. For these awards, the Chamber needs business owner participation by completing an application nominating themself. Applications will be evaluated and scored by professionals outside the area to maintain strict objectiveness and fairness. Below are the awards for which nominees are being solicited:

Community Impact – Business

Demonstrated exceptional performance in its support of the community through its involvement and support of programs, events or voluntary groups that serve to enhance the community.

Community Impact – Non-Profit

Demonstrated exceptional performance in its mission to serve the Rowlett community through programs, services and resources that positively impact the quality of life of our residents.

Customer Service Excellence

Demonstrated exceptional performance and outstanding customer service to the local community.

Entrepreneur Trailblazer

Demonstrated positive growth, sustainability, innovation, community involvement, and outstanding commitment to Rowlett. Applicant must have been in business for 5 years or less at the end of calendar year.

Workforce Bridge Builder

Demonstrated exceptional performance in collaborating with community educational institutions and agencies to expand opportunities in their workforce, including areas such as students, individuals with special needs, veterans and minority groups.
