Royse City police ask for help in identifying robbery suspects
ROYSE CITY, TX – Nov. 16, 2020 – On Nov. 16, 2020 around 8:15 a.m. at the corner of Arch and Front Street, an elderly man was walking along the street and was approached by some subjects in a vehicle. The subjects pulled up beside the victim and asked him if he wanted a ring that they showed him. A Hispanic female described as heavy set around 40 to 50 years of age, wearing a long sleeve flowery shirt, then got out of the vehicle and demanded the victim’s wallet. When he refused, she took the victim’s money and shoved him to the ground. The driver of the vehicle was described as a Hispanic male in his 40’s to 50’s with a shaggy beard. The victim could not give a description of the vehicle. The victim was shaken up but not seriously injured in the robbery.

If anyone was in the area of Arch and Front Street his morning around 8 a.m. and was approached by these subjects or noticed anything suspicious, they are asked to contact the Royse City Police Department. Also homeowners in the area with cameras are asked to check their systems to see if they captured anything that may help with the investigation.
