FATE, TX – Dec. 20, 2020 – A Runoff Election was held in the City of Fate on Saturday, December 19, 2020, for Council Member, Place 2 and Council Member, Place 3. The unofficial final results for the Runoff Election are as follows.
John P. Brandt won the Council Member, Place 2 seat with 74.69% of the votes.
Christopher Ash won the Council Member, Place 3 seat with 72.15% of the votes.
The City Council is scheduled to canvass the election results at a special meeting on December 29, 2020, at 4:00 pm. Council Member elects will be sworn in at the Regular City Council meeting on January 4, 2021, at 6 pm.
