Free, virtual Diabetes series offered through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Rockwall County

ROCKWALL, TX – Dec. 16, 2020 – Do you or does someone you know have Type 2 Diabetes? Type 2 Diabetes is a chronic disease; it never goes away. However, you can prevent further complications with regular checkups and by following a few easy steps. Getting the right facts from diabetes experts and professional educators is the first step in managing type 2 diabetes.

To get the facts you need, join Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Rockwall County for virtual “Do Well Be Well with Diabetes,” an online, educational program series for people with Type 2 Diabetes and caregivers. Classes are FREE and participants will receive a free American Diabetes Booklet and a free set of measuring cups. These programs are free due to support of grant funding.

Sessions will be live on Zoom, Wednesdays in January from 2:00 p.m-4:00 p.m. This 4-week program series will be held on January 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2021. Do Well Be Well with Diabetes is designed to teach simple ways to manage Type 2 Diabetes and take control of your health and your life! The Zoom© online platform can be accessed on a computer, tablet, or smart phone. Instructions for how to use Zoom will be provided to anyone who needs them.
