ROCKWALL, TX – December 7, 2020 – The Rockwall High School Student Council created dog toys out of old t-shirts for donation to Rockwall Animal Services & Adoption Center and delivered them today. The shirts were cut into strips, braided, and then tied in a knot on each end to make a fabric bone chew toy.
Student Council members chose this project as it keeps the shirts from ending up in the trash and allows the animals at the shelter to have their own toy while there. Over 100 toys were donated.
Rockwall High School Student Council strives to empower leaders from the student body to create change in their school and community.
