Royse City High School students earn national honor from College Board

ROYSE CITY, TX – December 14, 2020 — Royse City High School is proud to announce that two students have been recognized as part of the College Board National Recognition Program. Micah Wolfe and Jude Stacy have received the 2020-2021 Rural and Small Town Scholar as part of this national program.

“To be honored by College Board is a huge honor. We are so proud of these two students and it is our honor to help recognize them for their academic success at Royse City High School,” said Associate Principal Brooke McMaster.

To be eligible for this distinction, students must take the PSAT/NMSQT in October of their junior year, achieve the minimum scores on those exams, earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the middle of their junior year, and/or identify as African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Indigenous or attend school in a rural area.
