McGraw Council invites you to ‘Stand with Small Business’ in 24-hour live stream event

Heath resident hosts fundraiser for small business

ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – Jan. 10, 2020 – The McGraw Council, a nonprofit organization built to help educate, unite, and serve the small business community, will host “Stand with Small Business,” a historic 24-hour live stream event in which they will stand for 24 hours straight for small businesses, on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

“2020 was a hard year for many, especially small businesses; over 100,000 have closed their doors. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, because of the shutdowns, because of the restrictions, many families lost their dreams, their livelihoods, and much more. They are not forgotten.

Many small businesses, however, remain standing, somehow managing to survive everything that has transpired. We want them to know that we are supporting and standing with them; they’ve always been there for us, whether it be helping our communities after a disaster, raising awareness, or perhaps even raising money for a nonprofit, and now we need to be there for them. So, on January 27th, we will record a 24-hour live stream event in which we stand for 24 hours straight for small businesses,” said Heath resident John Beaman, President of The McGraw Council.

Like and follow The McGraw Council facebook page to receive notification when they go live with the event on Jan. 27. Here are three ways you can help:

  1. Join them on the live link and stand with them while thanking a local business
  2. Share the live stream to your social media pages
  3. Sign up as a Platinum Member

According to the website, if 1,500 Platinum Members sign up, The McGraw Council Membership, a nonprofit organization, will have enough funding to sustain an annual small business grant program designed to help small businesses when they need it most: “Not only can we continue to educate, unite, and advocate for small businesses, but we will also be able to help small businesses get through the hard times when they did nothing wrong and be there for them when they need it most!”
