Volunteers sought to assist with COVID-19 mass vaccination operations in Rockwall County

ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 29, 2021 – In anticipation of receiving large amounts of the vaccine as early as next week, Rockwall County Emergency Management, in coordination with Helping Hands, continues to look for volunteers to assist with Covid-19 mass vaccination operations. At this time, we are looking to determine volunteers’ availability. This is not a deployment request or a commitment to assist on any specific date or time. If a volunteer’s availability changes, they can go back to this form and edit availability.

Emergency Management has pushed the volunteer survey to many organizations and remain in desperate need of assistance moving forward. Rockwall County will provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to any volunteer who assists, and social distancing will be in place during mass vaccination operations. The safety of our volunteers is of the utmost importance. There is something for everyone if you want to assist Rockwall County to get past COVID-19. Some of the positions include:

  • Vaccinators (Licensed Medical Professionals permitted to administer vaccinations)
  • Observers (able to observe people for up to 30 minutes after receiving vaccinations)
  • Traffic Management
  • Logistics
  • Data Entry
  • Administrative Assistance
  • Registration

Please complete the Volunteer Survey here: https://forms.gle/DH1LaDK1UdT5yAEN7 if you are interested in assisting with COVID-19 mass vaccination efforts in Rockwall County.
