Meet Nellie, Blue Ribbon News Pet of the Week

ROCKWALL, TX – February 8, 2021 – Hi, my name is Nellie! I am an energetic, happy, sassy gal! They think I’m about 8-10 years old and a chi mix. I am a full-figured little girl. Aren’t I adorable?!

I can be a bit shy at first, but I’ll warm up once I know you and want to be best friends! I can jump on a couch but don’t like to (remember I’m full-figured). I’m not a fan of being picked up (it scares me), but I’m very happy sitting close by my person on the floor.

I’m very smart. I learned how to use a doggie door on my very first day in my foster home just by watching the other doggies go in and out! Now I use it all of the time! I am housebroken, microchipped, spayed, heart worm negative, and current on my vaccines.
