Rockwall’s water supplier urges residents to continue conservation efforts

ROCKWALL, TX – February 18, 2021 – As previously reported, water system demands are extremely high right now and are stressing the regional water system. Rockwall residents are asked to conserve as much water as possible during this time.

Now that temperatures have started to rise and power is more reliable, customers are asked to do the following:
* Discontinue dripping faucets
* Limit water usage for items such as washing machines and dishwashers, and use only for necessary consumption
* Watch for water running out of your neighbors’ homes
* Call the Rockwall Service Center to turn water off if needed at: 972-771-7730

The City currently has the ability to serve its customers, but this could change quickly with a main line break or a supply issue from the water provider. Let’s work together to get through these remaining challenges. Thank you!
