ROCKWALL, TX – March 1, 2021 — On Heritage Christian Academy’s Mission Day last Friday, HCA middle and high school students had the opportunity to thank Texas Health Hospital Rockwall healthcare workers.
Students spent time making posters/cards and praying for our local healthcare heroes. They also had Zoom sessions with doctors and nurses from Texas Health.
HCA Eagles rounded out their Mission Day by delivering the thank you cards and snacks donated to the healthcare workers themselves. It was a day full of blessing and honoring God’s word: Romans 12:10–13 “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”
