Rockwall Meals on Wheels: Weathering yet another storm

ROCKWALL, TX – March 23, 2021 – Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County sustained major storm damage in the overnight hours of March 22. A large tree fell through the roof of their offices on Williams Street.

Staff members were forced to evacuate the space today due to unsafe conditions and water damage, taking client files and supplies with them so as not to interrupt services for local seniors. Donations are currently being accepted for the MOWSS Disaster Relief Fund, to help with moving expenses and other related costs.

As of this writing, MOWSS was seeking temporary office space.

MOWSS was there for seniors throughout Snowmageddon in Rockwall County, when freezing temperatures left many without power and heat. With your support, they can weather yet another storm. To donate, please visit >> rockwallmealsonwheels.org/disasterrelieffund or call 972-771-9514.
