ROCKWALL, TX – March 18, 2021 – Sherry and Paul Hamm Elementary, Sharon Shannon Elementary, and Virginia Reinhardt Elementary recently earned an award based on student participation in a 21 Day Challenge.
Each year Rockwall ISD elementary schools participate in the Kids Teaching Kids 21 Day Challenge, sponsored by Medical City Children’s Hospital, the United Way and other business organizations.
The Kids Teaching Kids program offers children and their parents the knowledge and resources to change their eating habits for the better. During the event, students are challenged to make kid friendly healthy snacks created by students from district culinary groups.
