ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – April 16, 2021 – The EMT Program at Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy recently participated in water safety practice at the Aquatic Center using the skills that they have been taught throughout the year.
They rescued water rescue training dummies that were at the bottom of the pool and brought them to the surface. The instructor, TJ Starling would then give them all different scenarios in which they would need to quickly think about what their next step would be for the survival of their water victim.
