ROCKWALL, TX – April 15, 2021 – The City of Rockwall will host a Candidate Forum for the contested Rockwall City Council seat in the upcoming election. The event will take place on Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m-12 noon in the City Council chambers at Rockwall City Hall, 385 South Goliad.
The event will be open to the public, and also live-streamed so that residents have ample opportunity to view the forum. Candidates participating in the forum include Priscylla Bento, Jerry Welch, Clarence Jorif, Dennis Lewis, and Ronald Smith. The candidates in this Forum are all running for Place 3 (2-year term). Other seats up for election are not contested and will not participate in the Forum.
Early voting runs from Monday, April 19 through Tuesday, April 27. Election Day is Saturday, May 1.
