The History of Lakeside Florist in Rockwall

Lakeside Florist has provided fresh flowers and service with a smile to the Rockwall community since Tommie Wells opened her business in the year 2000.

After he completed college at University of North Texas, Tommie’s son Preston Wells joined the family business and now serves as the store manager. Over the past two decades, Tommie and Preston have worked as a team to establish Lakeside Florist as a staple in the Rockwall community.

The flower and gift shop stocks locally-sourced gourmet food products for gift baskets, including Rockwallian-owned Sterling Tea, wine and olive oil from Texas Hill Country vineyards, popcorn from Wylie, toffee from Richardson, meal kits from Plano, and more.
