Summer Movie Nights at Rockwall County’s Honey’s Shaved Ice draw community

ROCKWALL, TX (August 5, 2021) Community is the driving force behind Rockwall County’s best kept secret. Every Saturday evening, there is a community-driven movie night at Honey’s Shaved Ice at 6480 S. State Highway 205 in Rockwall.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. with food trucks, games, shaved ice, popcorn, as well as fire trucks for the kids to see and touch. At sundown, the movie begins on the massive 33-foot projection screen with dynamic audio and picture.

Paul Joyner, one of the weekly event organizers, said, “This weekly event is the best way that I know to bring community together, enjoy God’s beautiful creation, spend well-needed time with the family, and get together with other families and friends.”

The event is put on by Sarah Naylor of Home and Heart and Keller Williams, Paul Joyner of Vivint Smarthome, and Holly Pullen of Honey’s Gourmet Shaved Ice.

You can check out all upcoming events by visiting the Home and Heart Facebook page.
