Oncor Electric delivery outages planned Saturday for upgrades

Rockwall, Texas – October 27, 2021 – Oncor has informed the City of Rockwall that they have scheduled outages that will occur this Saturday (10/30) mainly in the new section of the Caruth Lakes neighborhood. Residents of the affected homes have already been notified by Oncor representatives.

Oncor is upgrading the feeders from the Rockwall substation to allow them to carry more load, and to transfer load between feeders. To make the switch, power to 574 homes will be shut off from 8 a.m. for up to eight hours that day. Oncor representatives say they hope to have power restored in a shorter timeframe.

•           Chesapeake Dr.

•           Calling Cir.

•           Dhaka Dr.

•           Lochness Ct.

•           Great Lakes Ct.

•           Open Bay Ct.

•           Silver Lake Dr.

•           Mountain Lake Dr.

•           Shady Lane Dr.

•           Setting Sun Ct.

•           Palasades Ct.

•           Crescent Cove Dr.

•           Hampton Bay Dr.

•           Crescent Cove Dr.

•           White Water Ln.

•           Bay Line Dr.

•           Highbluff Ln.

•           Blue Brook Dr.

•           Hidden Lakes Way

•           Montego Ct.

•           Rapids Ct.

•           Waters Edge Dr.

•           A few customers on FM 1141, State Hwy 66 & Washington St.

•           The Rockwall ISD Administration building on State Hwy 66

•           The Children’s Advocacy Center building on Washington

•           Harry Myers Park

Oncor will schedule other outages associated with this project on future Saturdays. Oncor will notify customers in advance, and the City will distribute information as it is relayed by Oncor.
