ROCKWALL, TX (Oct. 18, 2021) The Rockwall Police Department has received reports that some Rockwall residents are being called by a man stating he is an officer with the Rockwall Police Department. The caller stated that the victims have an outstanding arrest warrant or they failed to show up for a court date but could resolve the issue by sending them money. This is a scam!
Please be aware that the Rockwall Police Department will NOT call you and request money to clear a warrant or for a missed court date. If you have been a victim of this scam then please contact 972-771-7724 to speak to an officer or you can head on over to rockwallpolice.org/PoliceReports/ to fill out an online report.
