Dodie’s is accepting orders now for plump and juicy, 12-lb. deep fried Cajun-infused turkeys~ only $69.99! These mouth-watering gobblers sell out each year, because they are made with all the love and flavor you’ve come to expect from Dodie’s in Rockwall. Turkeys are brined for just the right amount of time, then injected with Dodie’s special blend of Cajun seasoning and spices and fried to perfection in peanut oil. Each bird feeds about 10 to 12 people (order more than one if you’re looking for plenty of leftovers!) Get your turkey hot and fresh on Thanksgiving or pick it up in advance to reheat at home. For those planning early celebrations, turkeys will be available beginning Nov. 10. Ask about pick-up times and reheating instructions when ordering.
Thanksgiving Family Pack Dinner: Get the Deep Fried Bird plus all the Fixin’s!
Dodie’s is also offering Thanksgiving Family Pack Dinners To Go for $129.99. The family pack dinners feed 6 to 8 people and include the deep fried bird and all the fixin’s: Garlic and Green Onion Mashed Potatoes; Rosemary and Mushroom Brown Gravy; Cornbread or Oyster Stuffing; Green Beans Amandine; Charred Bourbon Corn; plus Homemade Cranberry Sauce; French Bread; and Dodie’s Famous Bread Pudding for dessert!

Dodie’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Thanksgiving (last seating at 4 p.m.), serving up a Cajun-inspired feast complete with deep fried turkey breast* infused with a special blend of Cajun spices, sliced and served with Rosemary and Mushroom Brown Gravy; Cornbread or Oyster Stuffing; Garlic and Green Onion Mashed Potatoes; Baked Green Beans Amandine; Charred Bourbon Corn; House Salad; Homemade Cranberry Sauce; and French Bread – topped off with Dodie’s famous bread pudding.
