ROCKWALL, TX (Nov. 23, 2021) – Members of the Leadership Rockwall Class of 2022 attended the regular Rockwall City Council meeting on Nov. 15 as part of their curriculum, as well as to spread the word about the Leadership Rockwall program and goal.
Class Advisor & Leadership Rockwall Class of 2020 Alumni Shane Hollas addressed the Council and community.
“The program has been around since 1997,” Hollas began. “And the purpose of being here tonight, is to understand that if we are teaching them to be better leaders and better leaders in the community, then we need to teach them what it is like to run a community at the highest levels of that city’s government.”
Mayor Kevin Fowler, a Leadership Rockwall Class of 2015 Alumni, expressed gratitude for the Class attending and the meeting continued on.
