ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 12, 2022) Rockwall County Clerk Jennifer Fogg was recently presented with the 2021 Five Star Exemplary Award from the Texas Department of State Health Services for excellence in the vital statistics registration process.
The 5-Star award is the highest honor possible and acknowledges Vital Statistics partners who understand the importance of vital statistics and its impact on the citizens of Texas and especially Rockwall County. This award honors partners who go above and beyond the duties of birth and death registration.
“I am so proud of our Vitals Department!” said County Clerk Jennifer Fogg, pictured above with “everyone who made this award possible.”
More than 200 vital statistics offices and local registrars are considered for the state award each year. To qualify, offices must meet state criteria, which include attending in-person training, submitting annual self-assessments to the state department, and providing exemplary customer service.
