ROCKWALL, TX (April 12, 2022) Caroline Rose, a 2013 Rockwall High School grad, has become the first and only board certified family law paralegal in Rockwall County – and one of only 385 in the entire State of Texas.
In high school, Caroline began working for The Branch Law Firm in Rockwall under the guidance of a board-certified family attorney. She earned her Associates Degree in General Studies from Dallas Community College. She returned to The Branch Law Firm as a paralegal in 2015, and worked diligently through the rigorous Board Certification process.
Board Certification is a significant personal accomplishment and a singular professional achievement few paralegals achieve. Within the Texas legal community, Board Certification distinguishes a paralegal as “having substantial, relevant experience in a select field of law as well as demonstrated and tested special competence in that area of law.”
According to the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, these distinguished TBLS Board Certified Paralegals have earned the right to represent themselves as a specialist in a select area of Texas law. This designation distinguishes them as a paralegal with the highest, professional commitment to excellence in their area of law. The application process is voluntary and extensive.
Congratulations to Caroline for answering the highest, voluntary certification challenge laid down over 20 years ago by a premier organization founded by the Supreme Court of Texas and the State Bar of Texas.
