Rockwall High School Stingerette Senior Showcase 2022: Brianna Buckner

ROCKWALL, TX (May 9, 2022) Our next Stingerette Senior Showcase is Brianna Buckner. Brianna is the daughter of Jason and Chandra Buckner.

Brianna is a three-year member of Stingerettes where she currently serves as Lieutenant. She is a three-year member of the Elite Team Showstoppers, Kick Company, Hip Hop Team and a two-year member of Tap Company. Her Freshman year, she was First Lieutenant with the RHS JV Jacket Babes and was named American Dance and Drill Team (ADTS) “National Solo Champion 2018-2019”.

As a Stingerette, Brianna has been awarded “Most Outstanding Showstopper 2020-2021”, and “Stingerette of the Week” in 2020.

As a Stingerette soloist, Brianna was awarded MA Dance “Regional Solo Finalist 2021-2022”, Showtime “Regional Solo Finalist 2021-2022” and ADTS “Regional Solo Finalist 2021-2022”. This year she had the honor of being “National Solo Finalist” at ADTS.

Brianna shares with her fellow officers the titles, ADTS “National Champion Officers 2022” in Novelty, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She shares with the team ADTS “2022 National Champions” in Elite Jazz, Elite Novelty and Team Lyrical and Team Open.

Brianna had the honor of performing with the Stingerettes in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Spirit of America dance team as well as performing at Walt Disney World in January, 2022. She also performed with the Elite Team in Galveston in March this year.

In addition to the high school drill team, she has competed the past four years with The Dance FX studio in Garland which was recently named ADTS “2022 Studio National Champions”.

Along with dancing at RHS, Brianna was a member of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) 2018-2020.

Brianna will attend the University of Arkansas in the Fall to major in Business with further plans to obtain her Cosmetology license and own her own salon.
